Hop College: IPA Style Exploration Class
The taps are on, the beer is pouring, and class is in session! Head down to Ohio City and expand your beer knowledge at Hop College: Style Exploration. This month’s focus? GLBCs IPAs! Join Certified Cicerone® Great Lakes Brewing Co. staff as we crack open the history and sensory characteristics of our hoppiest concoctions, and taste these beers brewed with an utmost love of lupulin.
Students who enroll in Hop College: Style Exploration will head to the “classroom” where Certified Cicerone
Great Lakes Brewing Co. staff will help you tap into a deeper understanding of our year round India Pale Ales through a guided tasting, complete with sensory analysis, a rundown of the history of the style, the stories behind GLBCs versions, and more during this crash course on all things hops! There won’t be any textbooks, but we will have plenty of beer to help enhance your learning. We will be tasting:

Each Class Admission ticket will include one 7 oz. pour of each beer, so have those taste buds ready! Students who enroll will receive a special Hop College tulip glass, pictured below. Add-on tickets are also available for an exclusive Hop College notebook and GLBC pen.
